Windows Text To Speech

I downloaded a book Im reading for my English class, and instead of painstakingly reading it all, I got windows to read it. After having it read through a few chapters though, I found I remembered almost nothing of what I had been read, so now what Im trying to do is have it read it and highlight the word its on in TTS like it does when you set it up in the control panel.

Is this possible to do with the Windows Vista Text to speech stuff, or do I have to find an alternate program on google to do it?
