Im trying to get CE running on a friends computer. Halo PC runs fine but when we launch CE it visually stalls at the splash screen but you can hear the menu music kick in after a few seconds. Also if you move the arrow keys around you can hear the sound of halo highlighting diff menu options. Yet all you can see is the splash screen.
Tried reinstalling but nothing. Any ideas?
So PC works, but CE does not? That's bizarre. I would suggest checking the antialiasing options for CE in the nvidia control panel, if the computer has one. Make sure it is disabled. The two programs could have installed with different settings.

Check that post out. Try the "deleting the profile" thing.
Make sure AA is set to automatic (or off) in you friend's video card settings.
