Sound Problem

I just decided to play CE for the first time in a week or 2 and just realized after installing crysis I have no UI sound and every time I try to start or join a game it has an exception. I reinstalled CE and I can play on maps now but I still don't have any UI noise and I can't hear any firing noises. I can hear everything else but those things. What can a guy do eh?

Is your sounds.map intact?

Download md5 from here, drop the exe C:\Windows, and then open a command prompt and type:

Make sure you have Eax disabled

Yeah its not my sounds.map, I have backups of all the originals and I tried replacing it.

I'll try disabling the Eax, I do know its active, but I've never had problems with it before.
