Need help, sounds no longer work

Every time I'm in sapien the map crashes when I go into a cluster with sound, even when I go underwater, and it seems to happen on all my maps. Also it doesn't seem to be a problem with the map because I tried opening the default tutorial scenario, and it crashed as well.

Well that was weird, but the problem seemed to of gotten fixed after I restarted my computer.

Corrupt sound file?

I'm not sure, it just started doing that out of nowhere, but then when I restarted my computer it fixed it.
