Question on how to set up custom resolutions

Guys,

The game comes with a pre-defined list of set resolutions, only two being widescreen (for 720p and 1080i/p) and I was wondering how to set up custom resolutions not included in that list. Someone in other Bungie forum suggested adding -vidmod XXX,XXX,XX option to the line command but that did not work with my custom 1176x664@60Hz.

Any hint/help will be much appreciated

I think it's 'vidmode' not 'vidmod.'
