I know this sounds stupid, but when you packaged the map from Halo 2 Map Editor Launcher, did you make sure to check off "Copy to custom maps folder when complete?"
or check in C:/:words::words:/Halo 2 Editing Kit/maps

Well, since you're using Vista, just open a window that displays "your computer" (your hard drives/removable media, etc) And type in the name of the map, or just *.map in the search box at the upper right hand corner.
I know not many people have adapted to this feature yet, but I've found it quite acurate in most situations and have become a little too dependent upon it.

Do you have UAC turned on?
Well, he can feasably get that far with the map editor, it was designed to work with UAC, hence the \Documents\Halo 2\Tags folder...Quote:
