G-max tutorials, plugins, and tools

I just got g-max for modeling and want to know if there is a plugin for it that allows it to import other models, like gbxmodels or the .obj files Halo PC uses.
I also need help finding tutorials on the basic modeling features, like gun models and base models.
Does G-max lets you make the skins for a weapon using an internal tool, like it shows you where each part of the weapon will end up when you make the skin.

Since the first two were answered in the above post, let me respond to this.

You need 3ds max to do this. There's this program called Texporter that I've heard is really good. More information on that here.

Yeah, I know how that goes. Sometimes I renamed threads just for that reason.

max 8 has a built in modual like texporter. No need to go download it any more.

And yet I'd still use texporter over it. Just habit.
