god this game fails.... first i get stuck in a update loop.
(game always says there is an update, installs it, go back to the game, says i need to update, install.... etc)
so i reinstall, and now i cant recover my gamertag...
it says its downloading profile for a few seconds then boom...
i click on network info, and i get this bs..
any ideas?
(yes i made sure i can sign into my live id on the website)

In network settings set your network adapter to "windows default". Than try again after restarting halo.
Why are you hiding your Local IP Address? 2 Options:
1. Either it's the real Local IP, in that case you are (fucking) stupid.
2. Or it's your external IP Address, in that case good job on hiding it and secondly that's a big problem. If you have a router and the external address is used in the place of the internal one that can cause errors if I recall correctly.

it has a port of 0 after it tho, so im guessing thats also a problem..
i dont have a router, direct to modem connection.
When it's direct then your local should be your external...I think. :S

yah it sucks... i tried different gamertags too, none work.
