A cryEngine 2 MMO?

By 2010 they'll probably run on more computers. But it's an MMO, so it's not guaranteed >_>

Actually if i remember right Lineage 3 was gonna be on the engine but they had some problems with some leaked code so they decided to make their own engine.

I was going to point out the idea of an MMO on Crytek's engine is pretty frieking stupid, but then I saw 2010. I guess that's enough time for hardware to move on enough :p

It's only two years away. That obviously means that it's going to be delayed to 2011. Looks interesting though, I hope it's Free-to-play, but I doubt it.

New GPUs come out every 6 months or so, right?

No. They come out whenever there's new stuff to work with. Like Windows Vienna.

Since when are GPU releases tied to operating system releases? :confused2:

Isn't Entropia Universe already going to update the their engine to CryEngine 2 in mid-2008?

Never said that, I said that new GPU's come out when the developers make them, not every 6 months. Although thats close to haw fast new ones come out.

I'm saying that we're going to be a lot closer to Vienna in 2010, so it will probably have new features in it that will be used, etc, etc...
