HELP!!! Halo 2 play is jumpy

Here are my specs...

GeForce 7300
1 GB Ram
3.0 Ghz Pentium 4

When I play online the animation is very jumpy. My question is, would it improve if i upped my RAM to 2 GBs?

Hmm, I don't remember if a GeForce 7300 is that good.

What if you play by yourself on Network?
What about campaign?

Campaign play seems fine. I'm not sure how to do network.

Instead of Campaign click on network. Create new game.

In my opinion 2gb of ram would do wonders in comparison to 1gb.

The game gorges on physical memory. Its it has a glut for power with not much to show for it.

Oh what model is your video card? GT? GS? LE? SE? It makes a difference.

Anyone else think 2 GB of RAM would help?

i used to run the game on my laptop that has a ATI Mobility radeon X1050

I could play it on medium settings with around 30 fps on most mp levels.
I only had a gig of ram and AMD turionx2 1.6 ghz

2 GB of RAM will help improve framerate, but not that much. The 7300 GS is a low end video card. I suggest you tone down the graphical detail and resolution to achieve smooth gameplay. The default settings that H2V sets you at are not always optimal. H2V looks just as good as the Xbox version on lower settings anyway.

I recommend upgrading the video card if you want to play any high end games well. The 7300 GS can run every game out there, but playability is another story.
