Re: (Official Thread) Post your PC pics
That is the scariest bottleneck I've seen.
Trust me, your framerate would double if you just got a new computer (Dell locks the CPUs so that it's near impossible to upgrade to anything recent).
Re: (Official Thread) Post your PC pics
I'll get some pictures up of my computer again once I get my new processor.

On the motherboard box it says "Optimized for Intel Pentium D/Pentium 4 Processor." I know I can use a Celeron on it but I'm not sure if anything newer than a Pentium D will be compatible with the chipset. I've tried looking this up but haven't found any solid answers. Anyone has some answers for me?

I'd look up the mobo and see if it's compatible (You might get lucky and find a customer review or something where they've used it and it worked), and you might want to look up the south bridge (or the north one-- one of those [AFAIK] controls what CPUs work and which ones don't) and see if other mobos with it work.
But it's fairly risky, and there is a chance that it won't work. I'd try anyway-- you can find very cheap m-ATX mobos that support C2D and a lot of other stuff (Don't be put off by the size-- my current gaming computer uses some $50 ASUS mATX board and hasn't failed for me yet)
In short: There's a good chance that it won't work. But try anyway if and only if you're planning on replacing the mobo as well.

Oh fuck....an E-machine my parents has one of those and the damned thing dosnt open its DVD tray unless you press the button 20 times and each times its serviced it speeds up for about a day and then works slower than it didt before it goes off for its service.

I have to hit the front of the drive untill the thing opens, these days i leave a blank CD unside down in the tray because its the only way i can open the drive without pressing the button 200 times.

You guys try using the "Eject" link in the Right-Click menu for your disk drive?
