This was a test to see if I could get a 3rd person camera without an external program. It worked :). You can probably expect 3rd person turrets in the halo 3 version of the mod.
Warning: this image is not posted for critical analysis, just to show you what's in store. I'm aware of the flaws and already know how to fix them.
I'm actually not surprised it worked. I saw something for camera angle when I was checking out the tags for the spartans a few months back.
One question though. Why is there the arrow above the reticule like there would be in a warthog?
I don't know how you think im doing this, but it's not what you're thinking. The method used is a dummy masterchief biped with a third person seat. The game doesn't allow you to enter/exit the biped pressing the 'E' key, so I scripted the game to load the player into the seat when he presses 'q'. When you press 'q' again, you'll exit the seat. The reason the warthog reticule is there is because it uses the warthog user interface.
