Re: HCEL - Good things deserve happy endings.
I have a question regarding the maps and gametypes...
Addict informed me that the admins will be picking the maps for each match, but still give the teams enough time to prepare.
Although kind of stupid, i can deal with this. I then heard that gametypes are also being picked by the admins. This cannot be
done in unison with the capping rules. In the rules it says that in ctf you can earn more than the winning points by capping
more than once. I was psyched about that, until i heard the gametypes aren't chosen by the teams. Theoretically, the admins
could pick non-ctf matches for all teams that they don't like, therefore withholding possible points from being earned. So a
team like og could play all ctf matches against every team but say d2t. If og were to win every ctf game by 3-0, they would
be awarded more points. D2t could play slayer/koth/other gametypes and roll every other team and receive no bonus points.
Then, regardless of the outcome of og vs d2t, og would have more points come end of the tournament and become the winner.

You bring a valid point but its void because og` will roll every team anyways so...

I have not updated the first post in a while... if you had read through the topic my last posts would have solved this issue.

Hey, just a reminder, there is 3 days before the league starts so all adjustments to your roster must be made before the deadline. Games may start on the 7th, so if you want you can begin to get in contact with teams to organize your games. Remember each team you play, you must play 3 games, each a different map. At the end of each game you must supply a Post-Game Carnage report (screen shot) of the results before everyone leaves for point tallying and must be given/pm'd/xfired whatever to an Admin (Ducky, Bacon, Addict; more admins will arise shortly)
I will be sorting out the maplist for the league and be releasing it on the 7th. Most likely no time for a map pack unfortunately so might be a bit of a shock at first. :)
Pretty much the teams will decide on the maps and gt's first map they play one teams choice, second game, other teams choice, last one out of the three, they can both decide.
As for the points, I don't understand what your saying... you still get points even if you loose, it's your own teams fault if you cannot play well to get those extra points. What do you propose I do?
e: omg lol hi mal :)

u should give me free pass to bawt
Re: HCEL - Good things deserve happy endings.
are there any restrictions on gametypes? could all three games be ctf, or are we having like two ctf and one koth/slayer or something else? or is is all up to the teams?
