Re: Would this type of community project be possible?
1. No, I'm breaking under some stress lately and tend to just wander off and do my own thing, i.e. whatever the fuck I feel like doing. I wouldn't trust myself with payment related to small-time video game modding.
2. No, I'm broke as fuck. I'd be doing it for the money.
3. No. The Halo CE community has proven, especially with Yoyorast's video contest, that when money gets involved, shit will go south. It's a community of newbie to mediocre pseudoprofessionals who get butthurt whenever real talent shows up and is recognized. I am not attempting to single out anyone or make anyone feel bad, but if you stop and think about it, this IS what happens here and at Halomaps.
I'm not saying that this is a terrible idea and you should kill you're saelf for thinking of it, but rather if you want to go through with it, tread lightly and put a LOT of thought into making it work.

Or if you're going to be remodeling and scripting literally everything, you could take on that Halo Wars FPS idea I had. :U

Re: Would this type of community project be possible?
Actually, I think people would be interested in this even without payment. I would.
Re: Would this type of community project be possible?
I might, depends on what it is. Just contact me if you need, and I will see if I am interested and have time :)

Eh, the majority of people in this community don't even use legally owned software anyways. Idk about you, but I wouldn't attempt to make money without having a legal copy of the program I'm using. I wouldn't want to increase the risk of getting in trouble. That's just me though.
