But it's worth it. CS:S has the largest amount of custom material on FPS Banana and you'll need it to play Black Mesa Source when it comes out.

One more thing: Is there some sort of materials pack I should download?
I think you can download more NPCs to spawn during a game but I'm not sure of it at all. There are too many mini mods that you can download for Gmod.
HAY GUYZ GMOD ADDICT INCOMING
anyways, these are always the list of addons I recommend to anyone just getting gmod:
Pheonix Model pack (otherwise known as PHX), Wire, Hover board (:awesome:), smartsnap, nocolide multi, stargate.
PHX is an extremely usefull modelpack if your building. it has all sorts of usefull props. Wire gives gmod a fuck load of new features and lets you do heaps. stargate is just fun (and several servers support it so why not get it), the hoverboard is awesome too (the servers I play on all support it, and it's fun to just play with in SP) and the rest are usefull building tools.
if you wanted to play spacebuild, I'd recomend you get this, this, and possibly this.
oh, and this is probably the best turorials site on the net. if you want to find something cool to make, or find out how somebody did something (odds are they stole their invention from a tut here), then check this place out.
if you wanted to play spacebuild, I'd recomend you get this, this, and possibly this.
I added you on steam and xfail so if you need help, you know where to ask ;)
I'll download that.
For now, feast 'em on this:

machine gun turret mounted directly on the pod. There's a heavy gun, too, but it's not shown.

Now to have a look at those advanced controls...
But first, sleep.
:O!!
leet hax.
also, to put addons in, you need to paste the addons' folder in the garrysmod/garrysmod/addons. then copy whatever is in it's info.txt file then go back to the garrysmod/garrysmod folder. create an info.txt file in there, then paste the info onto the end of that. then with any other addons do the same thing (and paste their info onto the end of the info file at garrysmod/garrysmod and save).
with maps, they go in the garrysmod/garrysmod/maps folder IIRC. there's some more steps but I can't remember them off the top of my head and i'm not on my gmod comp so yeah :v
mb trace can pipe up?
Wiremod is awesome but tricky to work with in the beginning.
He's THAT enthusaistic :awesome:
