But the bed is in FRONT of the rear axle, so it wouldnt tip. :raise:
And weight isnt a problem. It can hold 1.5 tons of Spartan and still go 50mph.

If you're going to play the canon game, I'd like to point out that a scorpion weighs 66 tons. The warthog weighs 3.25. I highly doubt that just because a hog can carry 3 Spartans it can also carry a cannon that's part of a 66-ton tank and appears (from the outside at least) to be a fair part of said tank's mass.

Well, I am sure you would think it is retarded to see a warthog with a turret the size of the PoA on the back. Lol, thats taking it to the extreme but things which seem logical and look like they would work to a certain extent are better than something completly retarded.
If you wanted a scorpian tank turret on the back then I am sure you could always make the front of the warthog wider and bigger, and may put the turret in the middle of the warthog, that seems more logical, sort of.

Halo's engine won't support "realistic" gameplay. ever. You can make realistic weapons and have them animate realistically, but the fact that you can run around and have just as much accuracy as you will crouched is kind of a throw off of the gameplay. The limitations of using tags just won't allow it. I could see the engine being used to make an arena-style shooter, but not so much something like Call of Duty. Though I have to admit Ambush is pretty fun, it's not exactly what I'd call realistic in terms of gameplay.
Besides, this is just my opinion, but why have realism when you could have crazy-ass scifi shit blasting the crap out of people? Railguns, chainguns, hand-held rocket launchers may not be realistic, but they sure are fun. :downs:

How about a human ground transport, something designed mainly to ferry troops, so its pretty fast (think between hog and mongoose) and has medium armour (hog) but almost no offensive weaponry.
Or better a giant missle truck with ray-gun.

Got damn, that RPCHog is basically the medihog. It just needs a new skin, dropping health instead of rockets, and changing the projectile.
Mount guns similar to spectre behind/above driver, fired by gunner for aiming 360 view and gun rotation similar to spectre, but gunner enveloped/invisible/covered cockpit animation similar to wraith
Have the physics similar to actual hover craft (inertia movement and fan direction steering)
4 second Bubble shield activated by driver (covers driver)

Hogfoot is awesome . . . takes some skill to drive on any bumpy terrain though.
Also, I didn't know hover-hog was being made - would definitely love that. Matooba and Hunter should combine their efforts, and make a real monster hog - flames shootin out the exhaust, schmexy paint job, and a very mean sounding engine. I also think his BMW could use a slick track in a city setting - oil spills on road (like ice) could make for a fun race map.

Wheels: 8 (4 in front and 4 others we don't see) plus 4 thrusters to make it more maneuvrable (don't know if we use it in english...)
Weapons: One 3 cylinder rocket launcher on each sides, gauss canon mounted on the top of the vehicle.
Weight: Heavy...
Speed: Can go at an higher speed than the elephant but slower than a warthog
Uses: Covering soldiers being attacked, Anti-Vehicle infantry.
It's just an early drawing (tought I don't really draw better than this), I don't have alot of ideas for the moment.

Yeah but think that this vehicle isn't really maneuvrable and slow.
Anyway, the gauss canon shouldn't have the same rate as the actual warthog gauss canon and the rocket launchers should be as precise as those in the warthogs, since yeah, it would be un-balanced.
I also tought that it could be useful to cover actual troops in mid combat, since it's heavy. Not as heavy as an elephant but more than a scorpion.
