I'm very impressed with how your third monitor actually requires a second fucking desk.

the new high end Nvidia cards will have 3 monitor-outputs.
just sayin'
It's in the house. Think of it like a showroom. :-3
@Freelancer; thanks man, I went with ati this round.
@Sel: Thanks, I can't tell if that's sarcasm or not, But yea, this is the reason I am calling this a temp set-up. Maybe I will attach the screens with wall mounts.
@Neuro: I already have the Asus Republic of Gamers Matrix GTX580 Platinum edition video card. Costed me a shit ton of money. I am pissed enough about them putting 4 outputs and only allowing 2 to work (Not even talking about gaming here), to move over to ATI now. I will move back when the asshats allow more then 2 monitors per card.
Just purchased the Asus ATI 7970... Should arrive any hour now. :)
...
Couldn't you of got a second GTX 580 Platinum for cheaper than the 7970? 7970's were GTX 590 price-range last time I checked... Dual 580's would have been significantly faster.
Oh I see, so it wasn't just a flat new card purchase.
Pretty much. This way I only have to pay the difference, which isn't to much.
Yeah, in that case a single HD 7970 is the way to go if you're only going to run one card.
At least until the new GTX 690/HD 7990 come out.
This is what I did today:
6870, dual core processor added, 500w psu, fan added in the back.
120mm fan added to the side
rear view of the case
view of the outside where the 120mm fan goes
My current build on the left, and the other one I just build on the right
I got that computer back from my friend the other day and decided to make it a gaming pc for my gf and I to play together.
i dont know if any of you are familiar with the nvidea MDT cards, but they support up to 4 (i think) displays.
