BB isn't a bad band, but they get a bit redundant with their lyrical and musical themes sometimes in my opinion.
I think these new maps are great. Glacier has a ton of potential and forge makes the other two seem a little more interesting.

New MP map MrBig mentioned ^^ (Supports 'Infection' so Zombies make a return)
I thought 'Holdout' was the FF map called Outpost because of its 'pixelated image' next to the Holdout game description stuff been a similar colour pallet, but obviously Holdout and Outpost are not the same map title so obv different maps.
The first one looks like an Infinity remake? Any thoughts on that?
Infinity was huge, thats more of a standoff style map
That forerunner structure in the background looks kinda... inventive. Like they've come up with a tower that's obviously not a beam tower. I'm pleased by this.
e: BWU's up, flair details. http://www.bungie.net/News/content.a...ink=BWU_082010
Unless we're only seeing one base and looking to the middle or vice versa, could be an S shaped map? Map images can be misleading for the overall size of a map and only give us a tease of the aesthetic really.
Loved the new vids, the 'visual flair' details are really cool I think actually. New firefight vids are great. Only thing i don't like is that the Engineers are all strapped up in armor n poop again, if we see them in Campaign I'd like to see them 'dressed down' like Virgil in ODST, they look to Brutish like this.
Well, Heretic Elites are just your standard Elites that use human weapons, it seems.
There seemed to be a lot of confusion among a bunch of people that I've spoken to. I don't think everyone understood that they're not the Halo 2 heretics. Just clearing it up.
keep in mind these guys have to pump out a good deal of stuff and meet deadlines. they have dates where stuff has to be done, and probably have to work on a lot of different stuff. they may have a decent sized team working on it, but for all we know, the guy who animates all the third person animations and all the vehicles could be the same guy who animates every single first person animation. Either way, there are deadlines. they can't spend five hours adjusting thumbs or making sure everything isn't clipping. "Have this on my desk by the end of the day." A common generic office quote, still takes place in the video game industry. think of it from a game development stand point. honestly, a single set of weapon animations are not going to hinder a game's sales. there's much more than that this game has to offer.
The game could have a box gun with the most horrible animations ever created. that negative is not going to neutralize forge world. one out of one hundred person sees the gun and refuses to buy the game. ninety out of one hundred people see forge world and buy the game. hopefully you understand what I'm trying to say, that was probably not the best way for me to put it.
despite any flaws it might have, the sales for this game are going to go right through the roof.
