Re: Snaf, You May Be Right About Obama...
I'm all for them being able to search for illegal software/etc. If we aren't doing anything wrong then why fear them? Just shows what kind of people we really are.
I'm all for buying all of my music, games, software, etc. It wouldn't be the end of the world. Not to mention, if it was passed then another president's administration would just come along and change it unless it actually helped our nation (or other nations).

Of course I wouldn't fear them looking at any strange (yet still legal) shit I might have (not saying I have any). Why should I worry about the government knowing about my every opinion, fantasy, likes, and dislikes? I can't see any reason to fear such a thing.

Re: Snaf, You May Be Right About Obama...
Hey guys, don't break laws and you'll be fine.
Re: Snaf, You May Be Right About Obama...
Yeah I have a shitload of private stuff on my pc that I don't want anybody else seeing and is why I only keep it on my laptop. This is bullshit.
Re: Snaf, You May Be Right About Obama...
Whats up unconstitutional. >:(
thats bullshit.
Dosen't that break one of the amendments? I think the 4th.
Re: Snaf, You May Be Right About Obama...
It's not really having illegal materials that makes this act bring my piss to a boil. It's more that this is the latest and greatest way for the government to take away another one of our rights. First it's searching digitally for no reason, then it's public searching IRL for no reason, then finally private home searching for the hell of it. It's a simple cause/effect problem. If people give leniency for something, then people in the future will be more inclined to give leniency for even more, and so on. For something like this, we can make no exceptions. You can crack down on pirates all you want, but not at the cost of my constitutional rights, assholes.
