I know right? This is a completely unbroken streak. Halo 2, 3, ODST, and now Reach have all leaked early. Geez its completely in excusable on MS part. I doubt they'll actually move the date up, which is fine its only another 20 days away anyway. If they did though I would be happy.

Truth be told, I kinda wish they would up the date. At this point it feels like Reach is just waiting on a bus to get released seeing as how everything is done. MS is still probably working with retailers on preparations and etc, my thought anyway.
EDIT: Also I guess I must be late to some information or something (odd because I've been keeping close tabs) that elites are allowed in regular gameplay with spartans. That video posted yesterday showed an allied elite accidentally run over by the players scorpion...or would that be a custom game option and not matchmaking...I'm guessing the latter.
I seem to recall a BWU which had a Q&A about elites in MP and they said *yes*, they could be on the same team, but only in customs, you won't find elites and spartans side by side in matchmaking.
Makes sense to me. Elites are p much cooler and better with their super jump height and regenerating health, who would ever want to be a Spartan?Quote:

I've heard nothing of having the ability to make the AI's dialogue not play in reverse, which is really gay. Why record all them silly little grunts with silly little lines if all they're going to do is play the sounds back in reverse :saddowns:? You'd think you would get the option to toggle their dialogue after beating the game on legendary or something. Sure, the reversed dialogues may provide a sort of "spooky" sense to the covies, but you know, maybe it's Sep 14th 2011 and I've beat the game 100x or played countless man hours of Firefight and now I want to hear a grunt scream "I'll bite your kneecaps off!" instead of "Foo spaceenk ruoy etib lli" :-\.

Spartans are awesome. The Elites have superior technology but the Spartans -can- and do take them down more often than not. The Covenant have trouble winning ground battles where Spartans are present, so rather than spend time and resources on a battle they just glass planets. I'd rather be a Spartan, definitely. Screw the Elites ant the Covenant. Besides 1 Spartan > Entire Covenant Empire.Quote:

Did the beta have armor lock for elites too? I forget now. I didn't play too much invasion during the beta to get the ropes of elites if I forgot about their jetpacks.
Well, it did if you got one of those weird glitched games where Spartans were attacking and Elites were defending. Dunno if that counts though.Quote:
