Funny, I'm on xfire all the time but I don't got AIM. I suggest filefronte it and password it so we(if I'm included) don't have to download it from someone else and waste their internet.

Test is in roughly 3 hours, fifteen minutes. I have most of the work done, I just need to tune some stuff up.
Good choice, I feel it has enough room for sniping and Battle Rifles and so on, but many good spots to run in with any choice of close range weapon and slaughter 'em, hahaha...ha...ha...ok it wasn't funny. But in all honestly, it's a good choice, especially since I have never seen anyone use it as a test map.
I just hope that it won't lag with 9 people in Hang em' High.

Well, that was fun. Down to the criticism or whatever:
I really like the AR, it's perfect for CE, even when my ping was >200, I could still hit almost every shot. The SMG is also a worthy opponent to the AR, as the AR will win at longer ranges, and the SMG will win at closer ranges. The pistol, as we all already complained, is overpowered. I think it's fine that you use CAD's animations, but it just doesn't fit well with the fast paced gameplay that the weapons offer. Maybe speed it up a bit or do something to fit it in. Also, the BR, um...other than that the reload need work, and when it's almost empty, a second HUD that shows bullets left is HUGE, it seems like a somewhat good gun. However, the only thing I think you've nailed so far is how the AR is the best all-around weapon, but I think the ammo max should be lowered, and your best animated gun, is the SMG. The AR was definitely the best out of the weapons. BR seems perfect damage wise, but the HUD for it needs fixing. I thought the pistol was pretty decent. Also ran VERY well on my shitty PC 256 RAM with everything maximize and got minimum FPS lag, but when I turned down some settings, it ran almost perfectly smooth.

I thought the AR and SMG and BR were well balanced. To be honest though, wtf where you thinking with the pistol? it fires so ridiculously fast :S. the animations are getting better, but you still need to improve you frame gun movements. Also i hope you animated the BR with a different rig or something, because people dont generally float the gun 3 inches above there hands. Getting better, and it was definitely fun to play. RIIIGHT up until my crash, but dont worry that happens no matter what I play. I'll beta for you again anytime

:D Doan gave you all a respite from my awesome power with the AR. I used the SMG to win later on in BCreek though, and as ICEE said and I did, but I want to say again, the weapons are perfectly balanced (The 3 that you have animated, at least :|)

Would bit when I host games on my router it blocks all incoming connections cause my router is horribly anti-social. I mean seriously, I turned on fucking DMZ and it still blocks people from joining my server.

Never realized how serious of a flaw that was in the first halo lmao. I played on danger canyon and I was running the whole time behind this dude just far enough away that I couldn't do anything to stop him from scoring.

I think I had one, and I could host easily, but now I have some Netgear adapter and I can't host. I don't think it's the reason though, it's my brother's PC sappin' mydispenserinternet.
Set the HUD scale to .75. It will look alot better.
I dunno if it's your vid card or not..but the huds icons seem a bit pixalated, and choppy...
and the gradient on the shield meter isn't so smooth, you can see where certain pixels are further back than others...

No, change the scale in guerilla. It will righten it up and make it more crisp and sharp.

KiLLa has been around since 2004, so I think he'd know how to make it do that. He's saying in common sense, if you shoot somewhere else.
I mean it's not even angled where the bullets are acutally going(the rectile), and it seems awfully odd he's shooting in one direction, and the bullets are going a different way than the gun is aimed...h4x mb?
And yea..I was one of the first to fully make custom FP anims, so yea...I'll pass on that offer..
Those anims aren't even Frains. They're cad's. You may have misread his post, he said that there were new animations for the pistol since that video.

Anyways, we're going to be testing again hopefully by next week or after winter break starts. All I'm waiting for now is for me to finish Battle Rifle animations, fixing a couple of sniper rifle glitches (and fucked up shaders on that point), and waiting for the spiker skin to get done, and the HUD to be finished.

Help on this:
Projectile only travels for a certain amount of time before dissapearing, and it only travels for about 3 seconds. I've looked everywhere in the projectile tag and in the weapon tag and I can't find how far the thing can travel. The only thing I can do is make it go fasterrr and it will cover more ground.
E: Also, can someone help me make it so it only fires 1 side per shot and not two?

Also improve the fugly plasma shader on the front of the turret. Give it some plasma effects and not just leave it as a bitmap witha alpha.

the anti air turret needs something different about the model, maybe new bitmaps or something, to make it unique
right... oh, and your textures have no depth, makes em look gross. add custom bump maps and all that, otherwise it just looks like lines painted on the ground. Your draw animation for the pistol is also kinda gross. Who tilts their gun to the right when they cock it? that's just wrong and it looks really bad. If you're going to tilt it, you tilt it inwards, not outwards. gb2firearms101

Not really liking the floor, looks really repetitive. Probably because it stands out so much with it's details compared to the pillars and elevated walkways. Also, I'll only test if you down-powered that cursed AA-Turret. I don't want to see you whoring it and killing us all like you did last time D:
Yeah, it's at about 1/4 damage now. Much less acceleration, too so you don't go flying 1/2 way across the map when i shoot people in vehicles.

Lol, that appears for only about .01 second so its very unnoticeable. I just attempted to fraps the explosion real fast.
Oh and on the turret. Make the projectile emit more clouds of red smoke per second. So that the contrail has less gaps in it.
