The only way I can actually get it to work is to link it to the flashlight, so thats out of the question. I'll probably only use this in cinematics as I can remove the flashlight "light" and just make it polarize on/off
Can you do it on a scenery piece instead? (for example, the helmet that MC takes off at the end of the final cinematic)
The thing is that flashlight is the only thing I can control via script. So, probably not as it would be a biped.
You can make the visor a device_machine and set the polarization to its power level, then attach it to a node on the head with objects_attach. It will still turn on and off. I once attached a door to a biped and told it to open, worked fine (yeah, I also did the power thing, the light did what it was supposed to).
I'll try that later, it's not too complex seeing as all it is is that the visor is a shader_transparent_chicago that is triggered by a function that is the flashlight in the biped (A Out)
Clips that are way to small to hold 60 bullets but some how do are totally cool.
