Halo: Reach Discussion

Meh, I felt off today in MM because I was sucking badly for a Lt. Colonel thou I won some of those games. I blame the head ache.

Also I got Wake Up, Buttercup, yay 49/49 achievements.

I am just not feeling Reach today. I'll play it tomorrow but I spent my time today in Red Dead Redemption. Gotta get ready for Undead Nightmare.

Reached Lt. Colonel grade 1 today. Probably going to shoot to Colonel or higher when the cap lifts in a month or two

I had a 15 game winning streak. How am I still breathing?

If I ever make it to Colonel, I'm going to wear white armor and change my emblem to a chicken. I'll be the worst player to ever make that rank, but I can claim it's because my fingers are covered in delicious transfat.

E: Actually, I've noticed times where people will be shooting me and I'll zoom out, though I've taken no damage. Yet, it's possible to take damage and not zoom out. I'm willing to bet if you shoot someone straight on (not leading) in Halo PC while they're zoomed in, it'll make them zoom out.

It's most definitely still there, but does get pretty inconsistent over the internet.

That depends on if you're comparing Reach to Halo 1X or Halo PC. A controller vs mouse/keyboard comparison isn't even remotely fair.
I'd actually say it's considerably easier to betray people in Reach. I've done it before accidentally with the sniper.

It doesn't happen to me often because I always have a headshot weapon on me, it's just annoying as fuck when it does. It's basically the game giving a free kill to people for sucking too much to use their guns. Also, it happens a lot more often in small team games where the maps are cramped and blind corners are everywhere.

Maybe it's the area of detection with the bullets, maybe the game is just overall easier to shoot people in... it does feel outragously easier to hit people. but as far as the collision, I guarantee it fits the models nearly perfectly and isn't outrageously extruded. Most you'll get is minor inconsistencies with permutations.
