But if everyone's was a simple, land based, four wheeled, armored vehicle, this would be very boring. I'm not saying that flying APC is a good idea, because like snaf said, that would really be a dropship, but dont stick to plain boring ideas. I saw a covie one and I love the idea of the DD bus. Originality ftw.
Speaking of which, whoever wants that covie apc concept can have it, me and my partner got bored with it. Youll have to look a few pages back in the quick crit thread as I deleted it off my computer.
Well i just kind of had an idea in my head. and don't think that i just ripped off the "hovering" idea that was already said here and turned it into flying. I came up with the idea in the time that I haven't had internet for the past week.
But yeah, the idea is that the APC is mainly a land vehicle, but it has the ability to fly for a short amount of time, to be able to quickly evacuate if needed. As mentioned earlier, yes it would take quite a lot of power to make an APC fly, thats why it would only be used for a short amount of time to get out of tight situations.
I have an idea in my head of something that would be suitable as an APC, but I need confirmation on this; the vehicle must remain on the ground, but does it need wheels? It may be futuristic, but may it be unrealistic?
I think that's alright OD.
It doesn't have to have wheels or tracks.
