It would still look much better skinned. I really just see a modeled Spartan, nothing incredibly out of the ordinary with it, but it is a good model none-of-the-less.

I've noticed that in halo, skinning actually reduces detail, especially if it's overdone. I hope that whoever skins this does not overdo the detail on the skin.

itszutak, i would be hurting myself if i skinned it wrong. It'll look fine.

My computer sucks from what I hear, but it so far can run on with decals if I put it on 640x480. Not too bad, but it lags a bit when Norton and Apple want to be gay and spam it with pointless updates.

Would a good tester to see if our computers can run these maps be this one(?):
