also, your title is pretty gay, why single out warhead? plenty of games use securom....
And plenty of those users are experiencing the same problem.
Warhead is nice. It has its problems, but it's a major improvement over Crysis. Securom, on the other hand, is just terrible. It's not even uninstalling with the official uninstaller.
Well SecuRom is the best protection out there...no wonder it uses many resources. I don't know whom to blame...but if their old pirating ratio was 20:1 I can totally understand them.

I can. It's blatantly clear that SecuROM doesn't work and hasn't worked for quite some time. As a third party developer, they have the ability to decide a DRM method. You cant even get the damned thing uninstalled off your computer without voodoo.
I've got warhead and up to now I've had no problems with it, I especially like Battlegrounds 16v16.
I'm having no problems either.
I just torrent it to see what if was like, couldn't even play it cause of my shitty hardware.
Oh so this is what's been shitting up my PC with d3d errors lately, fucking spore.
Not getting warhead now :)
