Re: Steam - Epic games. Fuck yeah
If you pick up Unreal 2:The Awakening -- pick up the XMP bonus pack {free from Digital Extremes}.
http://www.unreal2.com/download_xmp.html (it might be pre-packaged, I dunno)
In the Unreal community it's been long-raved as the best Unreal multiplayer experience ever. This is ironic since -- you know -- Unreal Tournament 2004 is *only* multiplayer... and yet the single player one's bonus pack was allegedly better.
Regardless, enjoy.
Re: Steam - Epic games. Fuck yeah
Chances are I wont have a computer even capable of playing UT3, crysis, or source, for a while, so Ill get them when theyre 20 bucks or something.

Yea, idea would be mostly for the older games (Unreal, Unreal 2, UT, UT2004). As for UT3 -- if you can play Battlefield 2 on low -- you can play UT3 on low (pretty much).
It'd *look* like UT2004 :p But it'd run and play.
Re: Steam - Epic games. Fuck yeah
If they offered all the content from the collector's edition, I'd consider it.

If you don't plan on modding UT3 it's pretty pointless... the only things of worth are the art book and the 3dBuzz tutorials.
