Forerunner Ground Base Modeling Video

Hi guys! This video is made to show the process of how a base similar to valhalla's base is made. There are 3 diffrent videos that show how to model diffrent parts of the base. I didn't want to go too extreme with details and fixing small errors cause i didnt want the videos to be so big in file size. The part that i didn't focus on the most are the interiors of the base. The reason for this is because of lack of time and i will probably post a more in-depth tutorial on modeling interiors in the future. Hope you enjoy and hope it helps more with your modeling of forerunner bases.

In your video #1, you create a few faces in the clockwise direction. You might want to let others know that will create a face in the opposite direction. I like the tut though I would have capped those and cut my edges in.

Why does everybody make Valhalla bases now? Not that the model is bad or anything.

f4 key.

F2 and f3 are fun too

F4 for edged mode and F3 for full wire frame.

If he still has it tell him to throw it up on youtube as well. Their compression nowadays makes the whole loss of quality thing not all that bad.

Hmm I think I have the tutorials lying around somewhere, I might post them one at a time next week (since I have a limited amount of bandwith).

Also, I spoke to Pope a week ago and he broke his left hand. Poor guy can only type with one hand, and he'll be out of the modeling scene for months...

Okay well i can't find the video anymore so its officially deleted....God can someone please lock this thread. I will try to make another tutorial later in the future, even though im already upset that i lost that one.
