Definitely do want! I finally have a computer that can run H2V decently; this would be the icing on the cake!
What's the progress on the mod? Is it in early stages, or is it almost done? I couldn't quite tell from the post...

let me get this straight, all you did was set the map type flag to multiplayer and it booted >_>
Also notice he spawns and there is No AI so it probably doesnt have ai in mp enabled, scripts dont even seem to be running.
I'll explain in detail.
Modded maps will never load for Multiplayer. even changing the map type flag is modding.
MP is protected.
AI is not enabled in MP, same thing for Xbox. Yelo enabled it.
Only one or two Spawn points, on the Starting BSP.
AI does sync, as I've seen on xbox, their animations are wierd for clients.
No Chatbox. :(
No MP wgtz. The multiplayers UI, SP's UI pauses your game.
and no Mulg. Mulg is needed by the MP engine to determine teams.
But its good to finally start something.
If someone can enable AI in mp, then work on chunk cloning, this will probably be a full success soon.

I would play it if my gfx card wasn't throwing a fit because the driver is screwed up, which I can't update\downgrade because I get BSOD if I try.

Host is forced to go through the Tutorial, while the others will spawn freely.
Off-host can only activate the Shield test.
Host will hear the dialogue, that is normally spoken in this map.

So its possible to have 16 players in the sp map?
Now if you figure out how to put more enemies in each map, we are solid. Otherwise, I don't really wanna play this with more than 2 people. cool tho.

maybe base the difficulty settings by how much players will be joining.
Outskirts would be impossible. Someone would pick up blind and BAM all the huds are gone.

Oh definetly. On outskirts where the sniper and rocket launcher are on the roof of that really small building on the beach, I cans ee the mass hysteria of people trying to get up there first. Then all the betrayals of n00bs trying to get it. Then they finally lose the weapon, blame it on some poor kid, and he gets kicked.
Yeah, seriously, campaign needs moar weapons.
