One of my best freinds just got TF2 and he convinced me to start playing it with him and all of a sudden I've fallen in love with the fucking game. What the HELL happened?
I used to despise the game but now I adore it (aside from engineesr and W + RMB class). What all has changed since I first played it (like last year or something?) Because it seems different. Scouts are awesome BTW they seem so much better than before.
Tbh, not much has changed except for the addition of alternate weapons. Yeah, there have been a few balance changes here and there, but if anything, it has only made the game more complex without diluting it (sans MW2's hundreds of unnecessary weapons). Also, you're probably enjoying the nice feature of "weapons that have meaning, not just OMG MP32n-RC2 WITH THIS, THIS, AND THIS BONUS PERK THINGY!1"
The game got a lot worse, must be why you like it now? :S

if you roll gunboats like i do you'll use all 3 melee weapons.
The FaN is, strategically speaking, not the best weapon you could use with the scout. He's got low health as it is, and given only two shots to kill a player. If he misses and fails to kill the target, he's forced to flail around in circles until he's reloaded, which takes some time to do. If you miss with the FaN, you're pretty much dead during reload.Quote:

I use my FaN to take out people out who are unaware of me. It's basically a hit and run. If I see a enemy on fire heading for a medic or a health pack I dash up and put 2 rounds in him then dash off. I also love the triple jumping capabilities of the FaN. But that is just my way of playing with it.Quote:
