Dynamic Lighting?
Get a brighter monitor or learn how to make use of floating light polies.
Make the texture shaders produce light.
Remove some heavy objects.
yeah, now that i look back i thought that it did say lighter... so never mind :P
The thing which is making it dark is that it is surrounded by cliffs around the map, I suppose I could reduce the height of the cliffs a little bit.
Or create a light source covering the area you want brighter.
How can I make a light sourve ^^^ also is there a sky setting I could change?
Ok the sky I am using is coagulation and am wondering what i could change in guerilla to help make level brighter, I saw that there is a setting under radiosity called power, so if anyone knows which setting i could change let me know please.
Open your .sky tag with H2gurilla and go down to lights and put in...
Direction vector [i0][i0][i0]
Direction[y70] [p20]
Then chose the sun_ascension.lens_flare
Its in skies/multi/ascension
Then compile and light yourmap with the low setting.
Med or high will take much longer.
Hope that helps!
Thanks JackRabbit that worked great and it was an easy fix, I didn't even have to recompile the level, I just changed the coag sky file to those settings and opened in sapien and it was perfect. + rep.
