Hey odx guess what, posing is a big part of drawing, so are proportions. You may not have known this, since you're 12, and retarded, but hopefully my post here will bring you some enlightenment in the matter.

I'm posting in this thread because I want feedback (see jpeg's post for a good reference of what everyone should be doing :> ), if I was good at drawing, then maybe I would want to use my gallery thread to show off (If you looked at mine, you'd notice there's no feedback at all !). Quite frankly if you're unwilling to be helpful and actually point out what I need to work on in my drawings, and would rather cry about them being furry instead, you and everyone else whining shouldn't be in this thread.

Anyway if furry art disgusts you that much odx, I suggest you never set foot in this thread for the foreseeable future

Fyi; People tend to crit on things they like, so you will get less crit with disturbing drawings. *As you can see, Jpeg and llama were about the only helpful ones (according to you)*. So your so called need of "crit", doesnt seem to apply here. The attention to your drawings is more like it.

yeah just use spoiler tags. first time i came in this thread before i knew sel was posting this stuff, there were some people around who saw one of the images. that wasnt fun to explain. now about half a dozen people think i was browsing a furry porn forum.

we dont need this big argument shit storm. you could solve the problem just by using spoiler tags. those who want to give you crit can give you crit, and those who dont like the subject matter can not click the spoiler button. seems simple enough, right?

Your "art is art" comment for -rep'ing me is a terrible reason. The Quick-Crit thread in my eyes, has been about art (yes we know that)...but what you're doing is abusing it, ruining other people's spotlight and opportunity. I've seen it happen dozens of times beforehand, and it pisses me off. It even happened to me:
I remember one time I posted a video with a nice set of animations I had worked hard on for the past weeks or so, putting it together and showing it in this thread hoping for some great critique from the other animators around here, as well as the non-animators since they would mostly be the ones using my animations meaning their opinions matter greatly to me.

Know what happened? Someone, I forget who, came in and posted some barely-started model of whatever. Everyone completely ignored what I had posted after that, and it just made. me. sick.

Why is there not a rule against this (posting work before another receives comments)? In no way is it fair to the person who worked damn hard on something and really wanted to see what others thought...then they get a big "fuck you" in their face and no one gives a shit about what they did anymore because "Oh look a few modeled planes! Let's comment on this!"

I don't intend to start an argument, I just really want to bring up this topic up and learn why people are so inconsiderate, and why nothing is ever done to fix the wrongs done.

You seem to have a tendency to use some pretty awkward expressions. For example...



The line "...barely able to not pass out after the beating..." makes sense, but it isn't worded very well - "...barely conscious after the beating..." is more succinct, and sounds a lot nicer. Also, "...I have just endured" doesn't make sense. The word "have" ought to be replaced with the word "had" so the tense remains the same. In addition to this, "here" should actually be "there", as the first few lines of your story indicate that it is written in past tense.

The tense wavers a lot throughout your story. You need to pick one (I'd suggest past tense, it seems to make things a bit less awkward) and stick with it.

You've made a good start though, so stick with it

Generally most people who constantly post similar artwork in the quick crit thread have been asked to start their own threads. You'd probably get a similar (although not nearly as harsh) reaction if you were constantly posting trains in here.
