will it run halo 2?
Why did you buy that card? You said you have a laptop with an intel GMA 950 in it. You can't upgrade that to the 5500 you just bought, because that's for a desktop computer.

If you want to upgrade a laptops video card it must have a PCI-EX slot with MXM or MXMII (or even III or IV). If you want to run halo 2 on a laptop you will need at least a geforce 7 series or anything similar from ati to get decent framerates. My lappy runs it maxed out with 2 times AA on, but I have an geforce 8 series.
