    Collision problem

I am having a collision Problem with some of the instanced geometry that I have made. There are no errors in it (open edge) but every time I crash a vehicle into it it causes a respawn.

    It's called instanced geometry.

And yes, there have been many cases I've seen with this interesting bug. I do not know why, but instanced geometry was simply meant for adding details and/or making close quarter combat a tad bit more possible.

There are plenty of instanced objects in Halo 2 that a vehicle can come into contact with. They are simple objects, nothing extraordinarily modeled. The only place I've seen such occurances are in custom maps.

I also noticed that adding two different materials to instanced geometry makes it so you can shoot right threw it.

Yeah, instanced geometry was meant to be simple. Though you can apply multiple materials to it, and get it to be collidable.
