Exclamation how to make a special surface?

I want to have a surface set up, that is visible from both sides and can only be travelled through one way, how to do this? i've read some things but I don't get it.

EDIT: I found how to make it viewable from both sides (!), but I still don't quite know how to make it pass through one side only.

Well my experience with correctly setting up levels for Halo and Halo 2, you can't really have a surface that has one side collidable, and the other not.

But with my errors and incorrect tests, I've found that if you just link an object to the root node without any instance characters. (Such as a plane) you can at least go through one side, but not the other. I didn't really play around with it to see what kind of shader effects I could give it.
