Halo 2 Vista Problems
i just installed vista on a new pc, but when i fully install it, it says that im missing files or i have insuffisint sources to start halo 2. Y is this happening.

well it doesn't gfc it says the intel Express Chipset family.

i think i fixed it cause i didn't see the thing Warning Halio 2 Vista has one or more Compatablity Problems. I only saw that when i disabled the UAC.
That must be the problem.
..........Now im f***ing pissed. I disabled UAC,but it still won't work.
Sigh...i'll guess i have to play on my lame slow laptop..
try running a selective startup, disable all programs that you don't need that boot with windows.
Also try scanning for spy-ware and viruses.

Dude you're using onboard chipset made by Intel, which is crap fro gaming. Didn't you read the system requirements? Your system specs does not meet the min requirements of the game. Shadowrun works probably because it's more optimized for onboard chipsets.

If you plan on playing Halo 2 on a laptop or with an integrated graphics card/chip you also have to know that it might not work at all, even after all these tips and suggestions because, simply put; Halo 2 doesn't like laptops (or integrated gfx cards/chips) - It hasn't been tested thoroughly on laptops and certainly not optimized for them (again, integrated gfx cards/chips). Any integrated graphics cards (Nvidia GeForce 6150, ATI Xpress 200, etc) will not run Halo 2 well. But usually this is the case with all games, right? Well let's not forget that Halo 2 is a port...
