Here is my Work station!

This started out as a $200 computer with: 32mb Video card, 256 mb RAM, and a 15in CRT monitor! P.S. and no speakers... and now here it is with: 256 mb ATI 9250 video card, 2GB SDRAM, and a 19in HD flat screen monitor. P.S. and a speaker system!

By the way! don't mind the date on the picture my camera is off date...

Thats the same computer my friend has... Er.. Had, before I ripped all the components out of it and installed a new system in the case.

runs crysis highest settings like BUTTER!

If he doesn't want to overclock the stock heatsink and fan is just fine, and if he doesn't want to get another 8800 gts then he doesn't need a SLI enabled motherboard, but I'm almost positive that it is a SLI mobo.

its not SLI mobo but im not planning on doing that so. there is another PCI-E16x slot though

havent looked into other cooling options yet.

except i got the 768 8800GTX and only 2gb of ram.

How vista working these days, is it getting any better at running? i havnt really paid any attention to the patches and service packs so i dont really know, but how is the performance now?

it runs great... i was going to get XP but after reading alot of the complaints people had with vista it was mostly the people that updated from xp. all the people that got vista for new hardware said it was good.
