Close. It's just a single 1024 x 256 pixel (or something like that) shader_environment with u-animation function set to slide and the period and scale both set to 1. I left v-animation alone.
Yes, Halo supports EAX and environmental audio as long as you have a sound card that supports that feature and you aren't running Vista.

Thanks, I was just running it with only two speakers though, and some sounds seemed like they where being cut off, is it because of lack of more speakers, or the sound card?
Also, How many speakers does it require for EAX to work properly, and how many does it support in total?
If you don't already have one I'd recommend that you get at least a set of 2.1 speakers. You can get decent sets for $30 if you don't want to spend very much. Make sure that you have the correct number of speakers set in the windows sound properties area, otherwise sound isn't going to be outputed to those missing speaker thingies.
EAX doesn't have a speaker requirement, just a sound card requirement.
