Ironically, your model has too many triangles to go into the Source Engine.

Looks nice, can you post a close up of the head?

Is that an actual, hardcoded, "fuck you don't go over me or I wreck your shit" limit, or not?

welp guys looks like 1/3 of my King Tiger will get into the Source engine

That's the polygon counts, not the tri counts. Once again, there's confusion in there. The polycount is almost 7K for Gordon.

I believe that if there are more then 10,000 polygons (might be triangles, idk) on screen at once, then the game will crash. Not sure if that limit applies to Gmod since I know some people have gotten 30,000 polygon models into it before among other things (eg armies of zombies, etc).

Dunno about that; I've seen lines and lines of vertex overflow errors scroll down my console in GMod while looking across certain maps, but I've also seen a lot of shit onscreen at once in other Source games and I'd imagine it'd be a lot more than 10K.

5th skin I've ever made in photoshop. Rock Skin or cliff skin is what it is.

It's starting to get there, but it lacks depth, and seems too plain.

Make a choppy noise map and overlay.

Looks like a good mossy rock texture.
