Thumbs up A look at the new Games for windows - LIVE guide.

So we all know that microsoft is actually doing things with games for windows live.

I've found this picture of what the new interface looks like, I like it! Looks alot more like a windows application than a bad 360 port.

Also apperantly a seperate client will be released with it, finally!

If it's not going to XP, I don't care.

Looks nice, but that still does not make me like GFWL.

Would like to see it turn into an integrated service similar to XFire. I mean, yeah you could have games take full advantage of the platform (achievement tracking, DLC, speshul gold features) by the choice of the developer, but it would be cool if it would recognize if you're playing a game and what it is, and give the option for someone to jump in.

Actually, I would kinda like to see GFWL replace XFire. It's great and all, and boo at me for not supporting the little guy versus the huge evil corporation, but I think a gaming system integrated into the OS would be neat.

What p0lar said. Maybe it would make some Vista features feel a bit less useless too. (Either games menu or sidebar, I dunno)

I'm going to be honest, I don't really like it. It has the ugly MSN look to it that I never really liked.
I guess they sort of have to change it ever since the xbox got a revamp.

Although, to be honest P0lar, I'd also find it to be cool if it replaced xfire. But it would require alot of imagination!

MSN isn't ugly at all and it'll be cool to be able to choose between the two. XFire is a bit too sluggish for me and GFWL is like somebody's bastard child.
