Option #2. Material representation is the least bad. 1 and 3 look like a mix between pitted concrete and silver foam. You have to understand the surface qualities of the building materials.

Taking a break from arbiter armor, decided to do a fun little speed painting exercise before I go off to bed, did not have much time to do much else.

That is, and I am not kidding chains, by far THE most awesome thing I have seen you do.

I talk alot of shit on you, even when I was banned, but my god. Plus rep ftw.

I really like it and its not even complete. Idk why but I really do.

This just proves tha you can do good stuff.

Nice lighting and color. It's a little blurry, but you should be able to fix that.

Final project for art class: white pastel on black paper again. WIP

I'm thinking of having it scroll hairbrained theories in gif form.

    Model in quads?

Don't break things up into triangles and don't have n-gons wherever possible. Max calculates lighting and smoothing on 4 vertices that make a quad, not triangles.

Awesome. Thanks Snaf, I will look into it.

    Edit:
Do you have an example of what you mean? Or a wireframe of CMT's?

All your work seems to be blurred. It would be cool if you started to make stuff more out coming and not so feathered. If you get what I mean. :o

ehhh... not sure if i have something readily available, but I'll see. As for a CMT wireframe, why would I have that? I don't think they even know to model in quads, but I could be wrong.

kk. I just don't understand what you mean Snaf. As you all know, I don't understand things that easily.
