Wait, in the video they said that border patrols/boarder police can confiscate laptops and boarder crossings... Does this mean airports as well? What the fuck are they going to do? Delay flights even longer because they have to search everyone's fucking computer? And then what do they do when they get to my computer that has an encrypted hard drive that requires a 102400 bit encryption key to get past, heh (/sarcasm).
This is fucking gay.
Is there any legitimate source for this, other than some Russian news station?
Wait, is this the law pertaining to confiscating HDD's at the border or at Airports? Because if it is, this isn't really that new. I heard about this a long time ago.
That won't worry me. I never travel by air/leave the country.
Im all for upholding the law for copyrights and such, and all the music i posses i have in hard copy legitimately.
But when it comes to them going to MY Personal Computer which may hold private conversation logs from friends and family and holiday photographs i find it very personal and inappropriate, "so...you got about 10MB of conversation log files...anything we should know about before we look through all your personal conversations?"
seriously, it would be like if some random person walked in your house and looked through your underwear draw just to be nosey.
