Did I miss a link to a confirmed trust-able news source?
I was looking around and didn't find anything. Wouldn't this make headlines? :|
Firstly, I'm going to state that I dont agree they should be able to look at your stuff willy nilly...
However, I personally thought they could already do this. All they need to do is go "Oh we believe it impinges national security blah blah blah" and they will do whatever they want.
Consdering the US government has locked up people for years, no trial and you guys are bitching at them looking at your stuff?
You guys are also jumping to conclusions, I havent see the youtube video, havent had time so I went by this "source".
That is asking a theortical question, that is not suggesting they will be able to do it for no reason. But what if the Government decided to allow itself to access these personal devices for no specific reason whatsoever?
You are all getting your panties in a twist with the slightest information.
"Wah wah boo hoo thats so unconstiutional we are suffering, they are breaking out civilian rights!!"
If you havent realised, the US government has a been unconsitutioal and breaking civilian rights for years. They keep trying to pass laws that enable them to do bad things, when they clearly broke the law before they tried to implement the new law.
You all need to wise up.
Since when was acquiring software/music/movies you didn't pay for a civil liberty?
They don't have the right to search your shit without a warrant. Read the 4th ammendment. ANd I'm pretty sure they have to let you know first too.
Also, saying ahh well, they already do it isn't helping. They are just going to continue doing it and walking all over you. Its the whole reason they are even doing it in the first place is because people don't stand up for their rights anymore.
I want a credible source on this. kthx.
E: Paul Watson and the conspiracy clan doesn't count.
So, if your saying it breaks the 4th amendment, that means police officers in US can not pad you down and search for weapons, without a search warrant, same goes for airports.
But, surely they do that now.../sarcasm
Of course they do that now, now please explain why they can do that and I dont see you bitching and moaning about it, but this internet case you are making a fuss it breaks your rights.
