    i'd like to give you one tip on your models though, if you're going to sub-D stuff for smooth edges, don't make them so damn sharp in your high res, it kinds defeats the purpose of doing a highres mesh. (plus it just looks alot better in a normalmap)

    Its not something to "fix". Its something with the render. I tried remaking the objects and moving them around, I always get that. Unless someone knows why?

    its becuase those faces arent attched to the bottom square properly, allowing light to come threw it.
    there's nothing wrong with the render, just that part of the model

    The model objects are seperate for that area. It doesnt matter, im making normals and textureing it. Then making a new concept for the use of the design.

    I actually dont like this one. Im going to go ahead and leave it as is. I learned alot from the texture part though.

    The texture just seems to be an AO bake over a few base textures.. Surely you can do something better then that?
