    Legendary CMT SPV2

Now, I know everyone else here pretty much swears by legendary...but I don't. I play Heroic usually. I tried legendary today and it was for lack of a better word...awesome. So I recorded my game with xfire because I'm cheap and lazy and have no better way to record it. Each part is ~9:30 long, with about 40 minutes of actual playing...the rest is either the end cutscene which you can't skip for w/e reason, or the chief getting out of his cryotank.

Before you all explode on me in a fastidious manner, please note that I was excessively bored after training new fish how to stand at attention and march in jrotc today.

Don't need to say anything. I just felt like posting something up. I was bored. :/

    There's a reason it's in OTF.

Huh...I never thought of approaching the Cafeteria that way. I usually bumrush to the back end and into the hallway, that way I can shoot all the elites in the back (or maybe assassinate if I'm lucky). Elites don't follow you there in vanilla or SPv1, but in SPv2, they do. But because it's a narrow space, grenades are more deadly.

Yea, I tend to use grenades...a lot. I think I used more plasmas in that one game alone than ever before.

Heathen--> No, not unless you were bored and felt like it.

I already said that these vids have no reason to exist except for the fact that I was bored and needed something to do. I can't say that there was any sort of planned direction for this to go, if you want to tell me wtf I do wrong, fine by me. It'll give me something to read.

Frags are pretty useless on Legendary except for clearing out excess grunts and Flood.

I dunno. I find them pretty useful at lowering (not necessarily removing) brute/elite shields to a more or less even level. It makes it easier to shoot them.

    Re: Legendary CMT SPV2

I find that the Brute shields recharge way too quickly for that to work. Since I tend to engage at medium ranges, I am usually having to deal with multiple target simultaneously. I can't concentrate firepower onto a Brute while being whittled away at by grunts, and Elites move too much, so I don't go after them until everyone else is dead (except maybe the Brutes...they are terrible shots).
