It's meant to be a teaser so i tried to keep the content very little just to tease people and get people interested a little.

Font is too jaggy on edges (on bottom text mostly) making it look ugly as hell.

I LIKE the fonts. All of them. The colors on it, the goldie ness all look rather nice! The name however sounds a bit funny, star fell? Star fell just doesn't make sense to me. I think star fall would sound better. But since its yours do as you wish.

How about, Fallen Stars? Sounds alot better, and isnt easily mixed up with Star Wars.

It's not a thing, it's a name. And it's means 'Star Mountain' as a Fell is a small mountain. Use your imaginations/logic guys lol. Also, i know about the odd aliasing issues with the text but i left it, released the poster and everything earlier today... http://halo.bungie.org/news.html?item=27969

I'd say attempt actual 3d renders of text in max, right now it doesn't look too great.
    Otherwise it looks good.
Maybe make the explosion a tad more orange.

The back of the ship should stay black, it looks better silhouetted.

Chains actually has a pretty neat idea. I would like to see one with the ship rendered, and one without the ship rendered. Not suggesting you should use his sketch for your poster though seeing as you have the actual ship which you can use as a render.

Looks awesome Chains, just looking at the detail you added its pretty damn awesome. I really love your idea actually. The main reason i kept it silhouetted however is because there are 'things' on the actual version of the ship I'm using that give much bigger clues to story elements which I'm trying to disguise. Such as a giant crater in one side of the ship which actually caused most of the debris, now i could show this but at this point in time I'm trying to keep that kind of hidden. However, i do absolutely love what you did with that and looking really closely shows some pretty interesting things that you did, wish i had those kind of skills...seriously.

Edit: BTW the ship has been destroyed for 50 years at the point of the main story (it's all explained in the intro) that's why i was going for more of a desolate look also.
