Depends on what you're looking for. GitS is a classic, best known for having a dub that didn't suck (in fact, I've heard many SBDs say the dub was better than the original).
Not sure if you're joking or not, but if you weren't that was kind of uncalled for. All I'm suggesting is that you try something outside of the anime you always hear about. You don't have to take my advice if you don't want to, but there's no need to make comments like that. I apologize for answering your question that way, but if you'd want me to actually answer your question, I'd say Ghost in the Shell. I haven't watched either tbh, but Death Note is pretty dumb. Also, Thora is releasing all of GiTS in 720p, so you may want to check it out.
