I usually only use my wrist to draw if im doing something thats say.. smaller than a 7" x 7" block. Im just so used to using my whole arm that I have a good amount of control over what im drawing. Our professor usually has us draw on 24" x 18" pieces of paper though so I get way more practice using my whole arm than my wrist.

an image the size of your hand you'd still use your whole arm, just small things in that image where you're trying to get really small fine details in is where you'd use just your wrist/fingers

Straight lines = Yes. General drawing no.

You use your wrist and your fingers.
Gee I guess that education of mine was totally wrong

Limited, if you're doing something of incredibly low detail, maybe that's okay. But it's nowhere near artistic, nor does it look good on any otherwise hand-drawn artistic piece.

You always use your arm when drawing and you really shouldn't rest or have your drawing hand in contact with the paper or resting it on the surface. Have your paper at an angle also helps. You shouldn't use your wrist all too much, maybe if you're going for some details a few mm in length. That's generally how it is, but when I draw circles, I usually have to use my wrist to get a visually perfect circle (key word is visually). Even then, the circle is usually less than 1 inch. anything larger would require movement of the arm instead of the wrist.

E: also I got a little less than half the glyphs done. Almost done with this, just prob 2-3 more simple details after the glyphs.

    Really, really nice!

Dont get lazy and keep at it. It will be worth it.
Fake E/ are you planning on making a low poly model for this one? or you just making this for render purposes?

This one was not made for any norm map as you can see. but it's an easy fix for the most part.

My latest set of animations. These are kind of at a stand still right now. I wouldnt call this version complete, but its not too far. Maybe some CnC will help me get back into it. I'm working on an animation set for dual wielded sawn-off stoegers, and it sure as shit isn't easy. Will post when it nears completion.

Also: these are some animations I made for the sole purpose of exploring the process of putting animations in unreal. Didn't work quite so hard on them, but may as well post. If anyone has any advice for putting these in unreal, please halp.
