    [WIP]St Caverns

    Since I haven't made anything good for a long time, and I got Halo 2, I decided to make this map. Thing is, I couldn't get it to work right in Halo 2, so i'm making it for CE for now.

    The map is located in a cave long since forgotten, and it used to be a mining facility for the forerunners. The covenant used it as a base for one of their operations, until the humans learned of it and took it over. It is now used as a training facility for new Spartan recruits.

    Everything is subject to change right now, I just wanted to post this to see if anyone's interested in it. If enough people want to, i'll release a beta for game-play testing.

    Here's some candy, though not completely sweet, it's good enough to eat:












    Textures from Bungie, snow wall shaders/textures by inferno, spike grenades by Sigmaleet, model by me, halo 2 teleporters by lightning, everything else by Bungie.

    for a second i was reminded of curio's cavern(s) [?]

    details look bleh, and i notyiced there is four white rectangles in the first picture ontop, whats that suipposed to be anyways? other than that looks like a pistolfest

    That's what you call "Game Play" in CE.

    Additionally, I still say you use the ice walls from coldsnap. The ones inside the red hanger bay. Those would look better than my snow textures.

    Those are the lights for the level. When you're playing you don't see them. And I set it up so you don't spawn with a pistol, but there are two on the sides of the maps.

    Do you mind if you steal some of your layout for a unreal map? This has potential if I fixed the flow.

    I'm not going to use your model at all just the idea of the map.

    About 6 hours worth of work. I spent a lot of time getting the layout where I wanted it.



    My brush work is so much better now.
