I just watched a really interesting movie called Time of Eve (Eve no Jikan in moona speeku~). It's a sci-fi about a cafe in a society in which human-looking androids, marked with a halo around their heads, are commonly used as servants and treated as appliances. The cafe treats androids differently, and lets them hide their halos and interact as humans would, forming robot relationships, human relationships and human-robot relationships, all of which can only exist within the walls of the cafe.
